Advertising details
Prices
- First property: Cost: £40 / 50 euros per year for one property, or the first property submitted if you have more than one.
- Additional Properties: if at the same location as the first property these are charged at a reduced rate of £20 / 25 euros per year each - the submission form includes an option to let us know if you have already submitted a first property. Please do not use one advert for several properties, the listing will be rejected and your payment refunded.
If you submit multiple properties, each of your listings will each include mention of the other properties that you have listed with us.
Notes
We do not include direct links to personal websites on new properties listing with us. We know from experience that bookings received via this route are almost never correctly attributed to our site.
We do accept links to a homeawayconnect.com availability schedule in the appropriate field - this is highly recommended as they are now the industry standard for calendars (no other availability schedule links can be included)
Payment
The property submission form is followed by a payment screen where you can pay by credit card or paypal. All payments operate through paypal, but payment can be made using any credit card, you do not need to have a paypal account yourself.
Your advert will go live shortly after payment is received. You will also receive an email including your property reference and password so that you can amend your listing at any time.

Free advertising for gites and French holiday rentals
We do sometimes offer free listings on france this way. This depends on various factors, including the location and type of property, and whether we are in a good mood. Usually we are looking for a win:win situation e.g. you write some articles for us about highlights in your region, or you recommend our car hire or local travel pages on your website.
Please note: we get very many requests for free advertising and can only accept about 10%. We are unfortunately not able to reply to every request but you can be assured we have received it. If accepted you will usually hear from us within 2-3 days.

Lots of listing sites are free...why aren't we?
Our goal is to be the site of choice for anyone planning to visit France, so we need to be able to offer a wide range of properties. To achieve that we keep costs as low as possible - hence only £40 per year.
We wish it could be free for everyone to advertise on this site. Creating a listing site is cheap and easy. But creating a site with thousands of targeted visitors each day is much harder. It takes a great deal of time, effort and money to continue to rank well in the search engines and to attract visitors to a website.
We plan to continue to expand. So a 'free listing' site isn't a viable business model for us - or you!
We will continue to have other forms of advertising on the site where appropriate in order that we can keep costs for customers as low as possible.
What Next
Given the current competition in the holiday rental listing business it is unlikely that any single listing site will fill all your vacant weeks for you (not even ours!). Agency listings
We are able to add properties for agents and listing sites who seek the extra visibility that a listing on france this way will achieve. Prices / conditions are as for 'Paid Advertising'- ie £40 / 50 euros per property per year, with a 50% reduction for other properties at the same location. A minimum of 25 properties are required.

We are a registered company (SARL) in France and can issue an invoice on request if needed for tax / accounting purposes.
