Summary Description: A former presbytery (100 m²), fully restored in 2005, situated in a peaceful small village in the heart of the beautiful countryside. Its interior is spacious and comfortable. The village of Jeantes has become a remarkable centre for contemporary religious art in Thiérache, thanks to the work of the Dutch painter Charles Eyck, produced in its church in 1962. Apart from a visit to the church, which under no circumstances should be missed, the fortified churches route of the Brune valley can be the starting point for many beautiful excursions. In the surrounding area, there is also St Michel and its beautiful Abbey (16 km), "Ile Verte" water leisure centre in Hirson (18 km), Cascade de Blangny sports centre (kayak, mountain bike, climbing wall, archery, etc. 20 km away), the town of Chimay in Belgium (40 km), etc. Highly recommended!
