The property is close to the borders of the Charente Maritime and Dordogne departments, so Passirac is an ideal base for exploring. Chalais and Barbezieux are each at 15km and each has weekly markets, supermarkets etc. The Atlantic Ocean and beaches are 50 miles. The beautiful countryside has lots of chateaux, villages and towns to enjoy exploring, while the larger towns of Angouleme and Bordeaux are also popular destinations.
