La Hantraye, described by our guests as 'a wonderful, secluded hamlet', and 'quite the most relaxing place I have stayed' offers peace and tranquillity to all who visit. Our beautiful house, Primevera, second gite, Chataigne and our superb (Trois Epis) Chambre d Hote in our splendidly renovated barn, surround a large courtyard and are set in 5 acres of orchards full of apple, plum and cherry trees. This romantic setting, together with our lovely covered, solar heated swimming pool with terrace (for use by guests in the houses and Chambre d hote)and croquet on the lawn, makes many guests find it hard to leave the site and visit the rest of Normandy!
Location
3kms from the pretty town of St Hilaire du Harcouet with its amazing market each week, La Hantraye is on the edge of the village of Les Loges Marchis. 40 minutes to Mont St Michel and 20 minutes from the beautiful town of Fougeres and its fairytale castle. Within easy access of Cherbourg, Caen, St Malo and a little further afield, Le Harve, the ferries are a great option, or fly to Dinard, Rennes or Nantes with Ryan Air and Easy Jet.
