Valmar Gite is a luxurious rental property, sleeping 4-6 people, situated along a quiet country lane in the heart of the beautiful countryside of the Lot et Garonne, half-way between Bordeaux and Toulouse and near to the town of Villeneuve-sur-lot. We offer you privacy, comfort and from its elevated position, stunning views across the valley of Cazeneuve. You will have sole use of the superb pool completed to a high standard in 2007 and which basks in the sun all day long.
Location
Still largely undiscovered there is much to do and enjoy in Lot et Garonne. For sightseeing, there is an abundance of chateaux, beautiful 'bastide' towns and a number of villages entitled 'les plus beaux villages de France'. Well known as 'The Tuscany of France', the landscape has numerous vineyards, and plum orchards from which are produced the famous 'pruneaux d'Agen'. There are lots of fantastic restaurants, not to mention the local markets producing their fresh produce. For those with children we have the Lot River at 3km - canoeing, motorboats, waterskiing, pedaloes, kayaks, even 'hydroplanes' (like a mini hovercraft, great fun for the kids). There is also a theme park 'WalibiAquitaine', near Agen, as well as a climbing adventure park, horse riding and lots more. If all this sounds a bit much, you may prefer a walk in the local countryside on the doorstep at Valmar gite. Of course you may just prefer to lounge around the pool - bliss!
