Les Etables is one of two quality cottages in a carefully renovated barn. Many of the original characteristics including exposed beams and stone walls have been retained to give the cottage its authentic charm. The gite offers comfortable, well equipped and flexible accommodation for 2 - 8. The property is set in extensive grounds and has superb views. Facilities include a heated pool with salt water filtration (so no stinging eyes), a health suite with sauna, exercise machines and hot tub and a range of outdoor and indoor games. The cottage is suitable for couples or families and can be booked with our second gite, Les Hirondelles, for larger groups

Set in the heart of the beautiful and largely undiscovered Lot -et - Garonne countryside between Bordeaux and Toulouse and close to the market town of Marmande - famous for its tomatoes, plums, walnuts and hazelnuts - this is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. We are close to village shops with larger supermarkets 10 mins away and only 45 mins form Bergerac airport. The region is famous for its food and wine, its historic bastide towns and its beautiful countryside and there are activities to suit all ages and interests. Off the beaten track but with all the themes of French life at hand - farming, food, wine and spirits, art and architecture., we are sure that you will be captivated by the gently rolling scenery, the beautiful buildings, the warm welcome of the people and the climate.
