La Pierre Blanche is a former cognac estate comprising the main farmhouse (sleeps 12) and three separate stone cottages (sleeping 6, 6 and 8) which can be rented together or separately - all with delightful beamed interiors and historic features. The properties are set in 2.5 acres of enclosed grounds of lawns, mature trees and shrubs, with views of sunflower fields and vineyards beyond.

Relax and soak up the sun beside our large heated swimming pool, fully enclosed with alarm protection. Children will love our large garden where they can play on the swings, seesaw and slide, play badminton and football, make new friends and have fun.

The owners live on site and are on hand to advise with choice of restaurants, places to visit and generally to ensure your stay is a relaxing experience.

Located in the Cognac growing district of the Charente Maritime near St. Jean D'Angely. By road - 4 hours from St Malo, 5 hours from Caen and Le Havre, 7 hours from Calais.

By air with Flybe, Ryan Air, Easyjet, Jet2.com from Stansted, Gatwick, Bristol, Southampton, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds and Cork. Airports - 1 hour La Rochelle Airport and Poitiers Airport. 45 minutes from Angouleme airport. 2 hours Bordeaux and Nantes.
