The self-catering facilities, which were completed in 2009, comprise a spacious and well equipped kitchen, shower room, and twin bedroom and living room with French doors. Sky TV and a DVD player are included. The apartment, which is tiled throughout, is finished to the highest standards and was designed and furnished by a professional interior designer. Location
The property is ideally placed for easy access from Britain. Although very rural, removed from main roads and traffic, it is only 30mins drive from Bergerac airport . The glorious 14th century bastide towns of Monpazier, birthplace of Richard the Lionheart, and Villereal are approximately 7kms in either direction.
The micro-climate in this part of the South West means habitual sunshine and temperatures ranging from 25-30 degrees Centigrade. The apartment offers the ideal holiday retreat for those seeking peace and quiet by the pool, but is also perfectly placed for exploring the picturesque valleys of the Lot and the Dordogne, renowned for their historic towns, chateaux, gardens, markets and restaurants. Woodland walks, cycling, canoeing and horse-riding are all nearby.
