A luxury Gite for seven people (+ cot), we have been awarded 3 stars by the Prefecture de Vannes and les Office de Tourisme de Morbihan - one of only two gites to achieve this classification in the region of Pontivy. The living room at the centre of the house is complete with a wood burning stove, flatscreen TV with British Freeview and French digital channels and ample seating. There is also a stylish kitchen with all appliances, four bedrooms (one double with ensuite, two twin, and one single), and a main bathroom. Outside, to the front there is a large and sunny terrace, to the rear a large private enclosed garden with garden furniture and swings and slide for the children. The house is disabled accessible with all floors on one level.
Location
In the small hamlet of Kergouet, just ten minutes drive from Pontivy, an historic centre, with a medieval old town and geometric Napoleonic town fronting onto the River Blavet. Lac de Guerledan is 20 minutes drive from Kergouet, and there is a large swimming pool and leisure centre at Loudeac, also 20 minutes drive. Large beaches to the south are reached in around 50 minutes and have lovely sand and shallow pools. The coast to the north is more rugged but equally beautiful. Allow and hour and a quarter for the drive.
