This substantial farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and now carefully renovated, provides impressive holiday rental accommodation for up to 12 people.
Centred around a double height galleried area, there is a fully fitted kitchen, five bedrooms (one ensuite) and two further bathrooms.
English television, a DVD player, and books etc are provided.
The bedrooms are spacious and extra beds can be supplied if needed.
There is also a games room with a 3/4 size snooker table.
Outside, the property features a swimming pool, a smaller pool for children, terraces and gardens, and garden furniture and a barbecue. Also within the grounds you will find woodlands and a small lake.
Location
The property is set in a peaceful hamlet called Les Moullieres, near the village of L'Hermenault in the Vendee department.
The village features most essentials - bank, supermarket etc - while Fontenay-le-Comte, at 12km, has all facilities and an interesting historical centre to explore.
Slightly further afield, the Atlantic beaches and the marshes and canals of the Marais Poitevin are popular with visitors.
Children and adults alike will enjoy the action packed spectacles at Puy de Fou.
