The baker, grocer and butcher still come to your door. The two small houses were formerly owned by elderly French widows. They have been totally renovated by the new owners. The owners have preserved the authentic style by keeping a number of original details such as the bread oven. They have installed every modern comfort. The surrounding area is perfect for walking, fishing and swimming. Etang de Baye is around 14 km away. You can enjoy sailing or just relaxing in the sun on the beach. You can visit the castle in the village of Chitry. There is the attractive village of Corbigny. You can also enjoy a cycle tour along the Nivernais Canal. There is something here for all those who want to savour the unique tranquillity of Burgundy.
