Within walking distance of shops and restaurants.Position: In the village of St Gervais, a short walk from shops, restaurants, tennis and a riding centre just 500 yards away. Bicycles are provided free of charge (separate deposit required). Lots of interesting walks close by along well prepared footpaths. Just over two miles to Beauvoir for basic local shops and eight miles to Challans for lots of shops, markets with local produce and supermarkets. The nearest beaches are between five and eight miles away. There are also boat trips to the Ile dYeu. Situated on a side road of the village, the house has a secluded courtyard, a large enclosed orchard and a garden with games for children, garden furniture and a pergola. The enclosed swimming pool (9x4.5m) can be heated for 80 per week if prebooked (payable on arrival). The barn, known as La Grillade Vendéene, has table tennis, wc and rustic fireplace, ideal for barbecues.

Tastefully furnished and decorated with attention to detail. Living room with large sofa,  satellite TV, DVD and Hi Fi. Dining room with large table and antique furniture. Very well equipped kitchen with breakfast table, oven, microwave, electric kettle, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer. Single bedroom, bathroom with spa bath and separate wc. Upstairs are four bedrooms, all with en suite shower and wc and all individually named according to the seasons L'Hiver,  the master twin/double (please specify on booking) with cot, Printemps, a double room with two single beds on a mezzanine above, Eté, a double room and Automne, a double room with an extra single bed. Electricity above 80kw per week and water above 8m3 per week payable locally. One large towel per person and bed linen included, beds made on arrival.
