Unique, spacious, attractive. Overlooking medieval Château. Position: Mauléon is just over a mile away and has local food shops, supermarket and a weekly market. The château is on the doorstep of the historic Vendée and the famous Puy du Fou. In July and August, the Son et Lumiere in Puy du Fou is quite exceptional. There is a lake for watersports and swimming in Argenton-Chateau and the Lac de Ribbou. Spacious terrace with magnificent views, surrounded by woodland and pasture. You are welcome to fish in the large private fishing lake with tench, carp and perch. By the side of the chapel is the private garden with garden furniture, barbecue and table tennis.

Interior

Situated on the first floor of the chapel. Original 15th century spiral stone steps lead to a large, beautifully decorated beamed sitting room with a period decorative fireplace, a dining area with table and chairs and a sitting area with a sofa and armchairs. Compact, well equipped kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle, and cafetiere. Pulley lift for goods. Along a corridor there are three bedrooms, a double, a twin with a cot and a triple, all sharing a bathroom, a shower room and two separate wcs. Extra bed and cot available. Electricity up to 50kw per week included. Bed linen and one large towel per person included. Beds made on arrival.
