Beautifully restored. Loire chateaux within easy reach Position: A short stroll to the village of Arçay with its bar/tabac. You can buy or order bread and provisions from a van which stops outside the bar every morning and there is also a visiting mini-supermarket van which stops weekly. The pleasant town of Loudun is only four miles away for shops, restaurants, supermarkets and markets. The Loire chateaux of Chinon and Saumur are within 30 minutes drive.  The country park at Roiffé just  14 miles away offers tennis cycling and watersports. Do not miss visiting the attractive towns of Richelieu and Thouars or the Abbaye of Fontevraud. The zoo at Doué la Fontaine, the Puy du Fou or Futuroscope are also within easy reach. There are some very pleasant walks around the village through countryside dotted with fields of melons, asparagus and sun flowers. The large well kept garden is enclosed and safe for children and there is a pleasant shady area with garden furniture. The swimming pool (10x5m) is enclosed and has sun loungers. Swings, table tennis, dart board.
