Rouffignac with its more extensive shops and its Sunday farmers market is about four miles away, with Montignac and Les Eyzies both about ten miles away and Sarlat about 20 miles. There are many walks to enjoy in the area and a map of the various tracks and suggested walks will be provided. Golf course of St Felix 10 miles away. 6This lovely old house is built of stone in typical Périgourdine style. Secluded and partly walled garden at the back of the house with a kidney shaped private swimming pool, sun loungers, covered eating out area, pleasant views over the surrounding countryside and a gravel patio with teak garden furniture and barbecue. The friendly owner lives in an adjoining but completely self-contained house with separate driveway and entrance.

Interior

The house is spacious and well-maintained. Large farmhouse kitchen, recently completely refurbished with gas cooker, microwave, cafetiere, fridge, dishwasher, large dining table and chairs. Beamed sitting room with sofa and armchairs around an open fireplace (wood supplied) and pool table. Satellite TV with English channels, DVD and CD player. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom, tiled bathroom (with washing machine) and separate wc. Upstairs are three good sized, recently decorated bedrooms two doubles, each with ensuite shower and wc, one with four poster bed and a twin with separate shower and wc. Two bicycles on request. Cot and high chair available. Internet access and WiFi system. Bed linen and towels included and beds made on arrival.
