Very well restored with lovely views Position: On the edge of the small village of Savignac de Duras and just two miles from the hilltop village of Duras for good everyday shops, bars and restaurants. Supermarket  and more extensive shopping at Sainte Foy, 12 miles away. Golf at the Chateau de Vigiers about 13 miles away. Many fortified bastide towns to visit in the area, as well as the vineyards of Duras and those of Bordeaux, including Saint Emilion, all within easy reach. Set on a hillside with uninterrupted views towards Duras, the cottage, which is part of wine producing estate, surrounded by vines and fruit trees, has a large area of newly lawned garden with fenced private pool (10x5m). Sunny, south facing terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.

Interior

The bright and light interior, with accommodation all on ground level, is attractively decorated and furnished in tasteful modern style. The kitchen/dining room has gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, large dining table and fireplace. The adjoining sitting room has armchairs around the fireplace with wood burner, satelllite TV (English channels) and two single bed. Two bedrooms, a double with shower and separate wc, also accessible from the kitchen, and a children's room with bunk beds and a single bed, with french windows to terrace, and a bathroom with bath, wc and washing machine. Cot provided. One set of bed linen and two towels per per person per stay included.
