Lovely, welcoming house. Two minute walk to the charming village Position: La Bastide des Jourdans has all the basic shops a small supermarket, bakery, butcher, two bars and hotel/restaurant. There are tennis courts and a childrens playground, all within walking distance. Pertuis is 15 minutes drive away for plenty of shops and a large supermarket. There are many paths for lovely walks and Aix en Provence is about half an hours drive, with Avignon slightly further- if you can drag yourselves away from the villa. The villa is about two minutes walk from the village and has wonderful views over the local vineyards with the Luberon mountains behind. A large sunny terrace in front of the house, part of which is covered, overlooks the swimming pool (10.5x5m) with Roman steps. Plenty of garden furniture and sun loungers. Garage.

Interior

Entrance from the terrace to a lovely big kitchen, with central work-station, catering type cooker, two electric ovens, dishwasher, American fridge/freezer and table and chairs. Steps lead to the living room with open fireplace and two large sofas. Utility room with washing machine, dryer, microwave and sink. Separate wc with basin. On one side of the living room is a self contained apartment with one twin and one double bedroom, a shower room with basin and separate wc. Upstairs are three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a queen size double with a terrace overlooking the pool and bathroom with basin and wc. Shower room with basin and separate wc. Not suitable for toddlers, who should be supervised at all times because there are low walls and steps. For the comfort of future guests, please restrict your smoking to outside the house. Bed linen and towels are available at extra cost payable locally and beds made on arrival. Cot (no bedding) and highchair. Cleaner, twice a week included in the price.
