In unspoilt countryside, air-conditioned throughout Position: This collection of terraced houses is set just below the enchanting village of Gordes which must have the most stunning location of any of the nearby hilltop villages for which the area is famous. A steep walk (just over a mile) will bring you up to the village where there are basic shops, excellent restaurants, bars and cafés. Apt, where there are supermarkets and an excellent wine co-op, and Isle sur la Sorgue, famous for its Sunday antique market and canal-side restaurants are each half an hours drive. Tastefully set out and designed to fit into the local traditional architecture, each of the 26 houses has a private terrace with garden furniture. Fully air-conditioned throughout, on the ground floor is the living room, which opens onto the terrace with divan and second pull out bed underneath, table and chairs and satellite television. Kitchen corner with ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, small dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Bunk room (no exterior window). Bathroom with basin and separate wc. Upstairs is a double bedroom. Bed linen included.
