A recently renovated south facing house set in the heart of the Pyr n es mountains

Located only5 kmfrom the Spanish border, surrounded by the largest of the Pyrenean mountains, which rise to in excess of 13,000 feet (3404m)

Many stay snow capped the whole year despite the house being in the warmest region of France

Situated on the outskirts of a typical Pyrenean village but is only a 3-4 min drive from Bagn res - de - Luchon, a very popular spa town, withnumerous restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets

Luchon offers the normal full range of mountain activities including paragliding, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, rafting etc

There is also a small leisure airfield providing light aircraft and glider flights over the stunning surrounding mountains

This property is ideal for summer and winter activities

Although the house is only at an altitude of 560m the cable car in Luchon gives direct access to the ski slopes and high altitude walking

The famous Pyrenean long distance footpath, the GR10, also runs through the village

Both enable access to numerous waterfalls and glacial lakes. Caf andlake at Badech 3 min drive. International airports: Pau 140 km/Toulouse 145 km/ Carcassonne 220 km. The house has private fenced grounds and off-road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden surrounds the fenced pool, 10 x 5 x 2.2m depth, BBQ and outside dining area. Entrance hall leading to dining room, french windows to terrace. Spacious and bright living room with wood burner, 2 sofas, satellite TV,CD/radio, french windows to terrace.Fitted kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. Utility room off kitchen offering storage space and fridge/freezer. Laundry room with washing machine, tumble drier and lots of storage/hanging space. Bed 1 : double. Bed 2 : double. Shower/WCand secondsep WC. First Floor - accessed by either the hall tiled stairs or lounge stairs. Small step down to Bed 3 : double, ensuite shower/WC, french doors to balcony. Three steps down to Bed 4 : 4 single drawer beds, wardrobe space outside and adjoining shower room. Mezzanine/Bed 5 : double sofa-bed, velux skylight window. Steep steps to 2nd floor mezzanine. Cot and highchair on request.
