Originally the gatekeeper's cottage for Villa Ste Therese, Les Cerisiers has been completely renovated in 2011 to create a cosy couple's retreat.The kitchen is fully equipped to create any feast, with an electric oven, vitro-ceramic cooktop & dishwasher. The living areas are spaciously proportioned, with a dining/living area downstairs and an airy queensize bedroom upstairs on the mezzanine floor. A separate bathroom is downstairs. Dine outdoors on the terrace and enjoy the garden views. Recent renovations have created a stylish, yet authentic, country cottage offering all modern amenities. We love the fact that we can walk into the village in 5 minutes & relax with a coffee just to watch the world go by!

In the heart of the southern Dordogne, Les Cerisiers is just 700metres from Monpazier, listed as "One of the Most Beautiful Villages of France". Explore nearby historic Chateaux: Monbazillac, Biron, Milandes, Beynac & Lanquais. Minutes to great wineries, gorgeous bastide villages, glorious public gardens like Marqueyssac or Eyrignac, amazing underground caves like Grottes de Maxange or Proumeyssac, or famous prehistoric Font-de-Gaume.
